Job Overview

Ebenezer Senior Living is seeking a Web Developer to design, build, and maintain high-quality websites for our portfolio of senior living communities. This role is essential in delivering efficient, accessible, and brand-aligned digital experiences that support new community onboarding and meet performance standards.

The Web Developer will collaborate closely with our internal marketing team, including a web designer, copywriter, and SEO consultant to deliver functional, mobile-responsive, and search-optimized websites. Responsibilities also include ongoing site maintenance, analytics implementation, and CMS management (WordPress and HubSpot).

Location Requirement: This is a hybrid role with a mandatory minimum of two days per week in our Edina office.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain community websites on WordPress and HubSpot CMS

  • Collaborate with internal team to execute page layouts, templates, and mobile-responsive designs

  • Implement technical SEO best practices (e.g., redirects, schema, Core Web Vitals)

  • Ensure all websites meet WCAG 2.1+ accessibility standards

  • Integrate and manage embedded HubSpot forms, analytics scripts, and call tracking

  • Support microsites and campaign landing pages

  • Manage CMS security updates, plugin health, and hosting backups

  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and device responsiveness

  • Participate in process documentation, internal training, and digital infrastructure planning

  • Stay up to date with digital and accessibility trends

Required Experience

  • 5 or more years experience with HubSpot CMS and embedded marketing tools

  • 8 or more years experience advanced WordPress development (custom themes, templates, plugins)

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor of Science Web Development, Computer Science, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5 or more years experienceyears Experience in senior living or healthcare

  • 5 or more years experienceyears Understanding of accessibility (WCAG), mobile-first design, GA4, GTM

  • 5 or more years experience Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
