We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky. This opportunity begins on Apr 13, 2026, and offers a flexible schedule of 10-15 shifts per month, typically including swing shifts from 11am to 11pm. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise and adaptability in a fast-paced emergency care environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting with a broad range of acute conditions
• Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and initiate treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document clinical encounters and maintain accurate records
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and deliver care under pressure
• Adhere to established clinical protocols and safety standards

Additional Information

• Must have at least 3 years of recent experience in Emergency Medicine
• Active Kentucky license required
• Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Board certifications accepted: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine
