Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Performing repairs on customer vehicles and trailers
  • Carrying out basic welding tasks
  • Updating customers and management on service completion times and any changes
  • Monitoring job profitability while adhering to quality standards to minimize re-work
  • Submitting work orders for invoicing
  • Managing inventory and supplies
  • Compiling lists for required replacement parts
  • Maintaining cleanliness of work area and equipment; adhering to environmental, health and safety policies

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • At least two years of diesel mechanic experience in the heavy-duty industry
  • A valid Safety Inspector License (for Virginia) or willingness to obtain it at our expense
  • Automotive Service Excellence certification or equivalent
  • Your own tools and the willingness to purchase necessary tools as you advance (TruckPro offers reimbursement options)
  • Ability to lift parts weighing 50+ lbs
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • A CDL or willingness to obtain one at company expense

Work Environment:

The work environment includes exposure to typical indoor and outdoor conditions that may involve dirt, dust, noise, and various temperatures:

  • Regular exposure to a warehouse and vehicle service environment
  • Completion of tasks requires adherence to safety precautions for potential hazards
