Job Summary

The Claim Administration Clerk works in a fast-paced hybrid environment providing administrative support to the entire department. Duties include responding to telephone calls, uploading records and informational packets into payer portals, responding to record requests including itemized bills, working claim edit worklogs, resolving BMS tickets, processing and filling correspondence as needed and data entry projects. Strong software skills are required, as well as Internet research abilities and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong attention to detail and an ability to work independently on various projects. Some in office hours will be expected to print and mail claims as well as others in person-related department functions.

Skills/Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with healthcare claims processes preferred (1-2 years)
  • Working in multiple company portals is preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple websites log in and passwords is required.
  • Experience working in a remote environment preferred.
