Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive Financial Analyst with 2-3 years of experience to join our Corporate Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing financial models, supporting our annual budgeting and forecasting processes, and performing detailed variance analysis. You will collaborate closely with various business units, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that drive key strategic decisions. Position

What to Expect in the Role:

  • You will work under the guidance of senior analysts and managers, contributing to complex financial projects.
  • The role is focused on developing a foundational understanding of the business and its financial drivers.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and precision in data and reporting.
Key Job Duties:
  • Consolidate and analyze financial data, including income statements and budgets, from various sources.
  • Prepare and summarize data into sophisticated reports to communicate the company's financial status and risks.
  • Assist in developing financial forecasts and models, and support the annual budget process.
  • Analyze deviations between actual performance and financial plans, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Drive initiatives and policy development to enhance financial function processes and reduce waste.
  • Provide support and analysis to finance managers and senior leadership as needed.
Experience/Skills Requirements:
  • Advanced Excel proficiency: is essential.
  • Experience with financial software applications or ERP systems (like Sage 100) is a plus.
  • Strong data manipulation and interrogation skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication: (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • A strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to data.
  • Initiative and drive, able to work independently with a sense of urgency.

Education Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
