Contract

Client: State of Florida.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
• 8+ Years of experience as a Database Administrator with Oracle, PL/SQL
• 1+ year's experience with Oracle 19c Multi-Tenant Architecture and database infrastructure design on RAC Databases.
• Experience Red Hat Linux & Oracle Linux Operating Systems.
• Experience in following processes and procedures to standardize Database installations and configuration.
• Experience automating, scripting, and streamlining processes for efficiency and accuracy utilizing Unix shell scripting or other scripting tools.
• Broad experience in the art of performance tuning, utilizing OEM or third-party tools to finely tune objects and queries in Oracle 19c.
• Comprehensive understanding of Oracle backup methodologies
• Experience with setup and scheduling of RMAN backups as well as successful database restores.
• Monitor alert logs, OEM and system alerts, acting on the results.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours Production support.
• Proficiency in Linux, Unix, Java, and DBA
• Understanding of production environments, technical support, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Automatic Storage Management (ASM)
• Experience with Oracle Exadata
• Experience working in UNIX operating system
• Ability to write simple to complex Linux/Unix shell scripts and Perl scripts
• Strong knowledge in Unix/Linux System administration,
• Ability to work independently and to resolve complex Oracle issues
• Experience with data pump and working knowledge to use expdp and impdp.
• Ability to effectively diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex problems pertaining to data infrastructure
• Ability to write, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Stored Procedures,
• Functions, Packages and Database Triggers
• Ability to Tune Oracle SQL and PL/SQL performance
• Experience in logical database design and data models
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle process
• Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Knowledge of data privacy and protection initiatives
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred KSA's:
• Excellent working skills with Oracle Exadata
• 3+ years' experience with SQL performance tuning and database architecture.
• Experience in converting non CDB databases to CDB
• Experience in working with Informatica
