This is a unique opportunity to build the financial foundation for a global software business at an inflection point-where operational rigor meets strategic ambition.

Role Summary
We're hiring a VP-level Head of Finance to lead financial strategy and operational excellence through a period of rapid transformation and scale. You'll report directly to the CEO, partnering together with the board to build a best-practice finance organization, drive accurate forecasting and planning across the business, and serve as a strategic thought partner to the executive team.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and Scale a Best-Practice Finance Organization: Hire, develop, and lead a high-
performing global finance team; establish scalable best practices and standard operating

procedures; build a finance culture rooted in accountability and business partnership.
Product clear, timely monthly and quarterly reports and analysis for internal and external
stakeholders.

- Drive Operational Transformation at $50M ARR Scale: Transform finance operations to

support growth from $30M to $50M+ ARR; establish highly predictable and consistent close

processes; diagnose key business drivers and metrics to deliver accurate P&L forecasts;
drive standardized accounting practices that ensure clean, timely audits; position finance as
a proactive partner providing insights aligned with company strategy

- Leverage Data and Analytics to Drive Business Performance: Identify and execute
strategies to ensure bookings, ARR, and EBITDA targets are achieved annually; serve as
source of truth for bookings, commissions, and revenue; review, approve, and ensure
execution of key pricing initiatives; build strong alignment of metrics with functional
leaders to enable coordinated execution across the organization.
- Lead as a Company Executive: Serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team;
collaborate effectively with colleagues across diverse professional backgrounds; lead
through fast-paced, high-pressure change with composure and clarity; deliver presentations
that build confidence and credibility with internal and external stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

Accounting & Compliance Knowledge (Primary Requirement)
• Deep technical accounting expertise with strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory
requirements
• Proven track record managing complex audits and ensuring compliance; consistent
delivery of clean, timely audits
• Expert-level knowledge of revenue recognition, commission structures, and accounting
for software/SaaS businesses
• Hands-on experience implementing standardized, scalable accounting practices,
controls, and month-end close processes
• Can serve as the company's technical accounting authority while explaining complex
treatments clearly to non-finance audiences

Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Solid experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting
• Ability to build or oversee scalable FP&A processes
• Strong understanding of how KPIs and metrics drive business decisions in
SaaS/software environments
• Can translate financial data into strategic recommendations for leadership

Systems & Technology
• Proficiency with ERP systems, financial software, and reporting tools
• Experience implementing or upgrading financial systems
• Comfort with data analytics and business intelligence tools to drive insights
• Continuous drive to streamline processes and find efficiency improvements

Business Expert with Finance Orientation
• Prioritizes what is best for the business over "squeaky wheels"-demonstrates strong
business judgment
• Hands-on and detail-oriented; willing to roll up sleeves when needed (vs purely
visionary)
• Instills confidence across the organization by delivering consistently accurate financial
information
• Demonstrates proactive cost management balanced with a topline growth mindset

Experience & Track Record
• Proven track record scaling a business through significant growth phases (required)
• Proven experience building and managing a finance team (required)
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in senior roles (VP Finance, CFO,
or Head of Finance)
• Clear examples of measurable impact-forecast accuracy improvements, process
efficiency gains, margin improvements
• PE-backed company and SaaS/software industry experience strongly preferred

Leadership & Management
• Track record of building and scaling finance teams-hiring, developing, and retaining
high-potential talent
• Strong people management capabilities: coaching, providing feedback, holding teams
accountable
• Builds trust and credibility across the organization through consistent delivery and
partnership

Strategic Business Partnership & Executive Presence
• Can translate financial data into strategic recommendations; communicates complex
financial concepts clearly to non-finance audiences
• Experience partnering with executives across functions; credible in board presentations
with crisp, articulate communication
