Contract - w2
Schedule - M-F, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM - 40 hours/week
Duration - 18+ Months

Role Overview

The End User Computing Sr. Quality Engineer is responsible for the design, delivery, quality, and operational excellence of Southern California Edison's end-user technology ecosystem. This role owns end-to-end service quality, focusing on stability, security, observability, performance, and user experience across enterprise EUC platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead quality engineering and operational excellence for:
    • Windows & macOS laptops/desktops
    • iPads, iOS mobile devices
    • Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online)
  • Integrate and manage endpoint platforms:
    • Microsoft Intune (Windows)
    • JAMF (macOS/iOS)
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards
  • Embed monitoring, telemetry, automation, and Digital Experience (DEX) analytics
  • Analyze incident trends, defects, and performance metrics to drive improvements
  • Proactively identify risks and service issues and lead corrective actions
  • Partner with IT Operations, vendors/MSPs, and business stakeholders
  • Present technical findings to both technical teams and senior leadership
Required Skills & Experience
  • 7-10 years of IT engineering or IT operations experience
  • Strong background in managed services environments and vendor oversight
  • Deep expertise in:
    • End-User Computing technologies
    • Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive)
    • Windows, macOS, iOS/iPadOS
    • Intune, JAMF
    • Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Identity & security: Entra ID, Conditional Access, DLP, compliance
    • Platform architecture and product lifecycle management
  • Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD methodologies
  • Proven ability to analyze defect trends, incident data, and quality metrics
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Desired Skills
  • ITIL, Agile, or DevOps process improvement experience
  • Digital Experience Monitoring (DEX), telemetry, observability tools
  • Experience supporting large enterprise environments
  • Endpoint analytics, device health metrics, and monitoring frameworks
  • Strong understanding of cloud collaboration and EUC-cloud integrations
Education - Bachelor's Degree (technical, engineering, or business discipline)
