Position Overview:
  • Hiring for Full-Time or Per-Diem positions.
  • Schedule will be discussed during the interview.
  • Hiring levels include Surgical Tech, Senior Surgical Tech, and Lead Surgical Tech.
What You Will Do:
  • Prepare surgical cases under the guidance of a registered nurse.
  • llocate surgical supplies and instrumentation.
  • Organize and maintain the sterile field during procedures.
  • Pass sutures and instruments to the surgeon as needed.
  • ssist with terminal cleaning of the surgical suite and instrumentation.
  • pply advanced skills to support optimal patient care and perioperative performance.
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program.
  • Completion of competencies for all General Service Lines and at least 50% of Advanced Service Lines.
  • Environmental Orientation within 30 days of hire.
  • Unit-specific competency within 90 days of hire.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association upon hire.
Experience by Level:
  • Surgical Tech: At least 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech.
  • Senior Surgical Tech: At least 3 years of experience as a Surgical Tech.
  • Lead Surgical Tech: At least 5 years of experience as a Surgical Tech.
