Volt is immediately hiring a Data Systems Engineer in Monroe, North Carolina with a well-known industry leader. In this role you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world.

This is a first shift position.

As a Data Systems Engineer you will:

  • Drive understanding of operational performance by developing and maintaining production reporting data analysis tools ensuring information is ready and available for key personnel to make quick decisions.
  • Lead projects to develop processes, procedures, and interfaces used to enhance production awareness for final assembly products, related sub-assemblies and new products.
  • Implement new systems for new equipment launches or changes in existing equipment; determine specifications and functional requirements.
  • Maintain and execute process verification and validation procedures and automated assembly stations.
  • Supports and trouble shoots failures and continuous improvement of existing systems and procedures
This is a full-time contingent opportunity

Estimated Duration 24+ months

The ideal candidate will have:
  • One (1) to Three (3) years of experience in manufacturing and/or assembly process development, evaluation and support in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft & data automation skills (SQL, Power APP, VB, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Grafana, Workflow
  • Technical skills in layout, development and validation of new data management interfaces, root cause analysis, general troubleshooting,
  • Demonstration of effective deployment of data management solutions in production environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, systems or industrial engineering degree Or higher in an engineering discipline from an accredited institution.


Pay Rate: $30.00-36.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
