Join GDIT’s Global CIO Business Automation department as a skilled Robotics Process Automation (RPA) Developer. In this role, you will collaborate with various internal departments to design, deploy, and maintain cutting-edge automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Demonstrating expertise in UiPath Platform software.
  • Creating attended and unattended automation robots.
  • Developing RPA solutions that integrate with Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, and other enterprise applications, utilizing the Office365 suite (Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Partnering with subject matter experts (SMEs) to architect and develop secure, effective solutions based on business requirements.
  • Analyzing current business processes and transitioning them to automated solutions to minimize administrative tasks.
  • Documenting and maintaining Process Detail Design documents for each automation.
  • Conducting thorough testing of automation solutions, including developing test plans, scripts, and evaluating results.
  • Debugging, troubleshooting, and reviewing both personal and teammates’ code for quality assurance.
  • Integrating database automation with SQL and Oracle systems.
  • Collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Monitoring and maintaining automation systems post-implementation to ensure optimal operations and quickly resolve any issues that arise.
  • Ensuring high-quality automation outputs by applying Quality Assurance (QA) processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on UiPath development experience.
  • US Citizenship required due to the nature of the work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • UiPath Developer Certifications.
  • Experience integrating UiPath with Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain, and similar applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C#, Java, Python, .NET, or VB.NET.
  • Experience in an Agile work environment.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML and Process Mining.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
