You will help execute the operational foundation of our learning and development culture, enabling strategic growth and innovation at higher levels of the organization.

You have a background in Learning & Development & Transportation/Logistics, combined with excellent data-driven problem resolution skills. You are highly organized with the ability to coordinate cross-functionally up to and including senior leadership, while maintaining your primary purpose: serving the people you're training. This job requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.

You're comfortable presenting to leaders, but equally comfortable sitting with a nervous new hire on their first day, making them feel seen, heard, and valued. As the face of the NCC and the person providing the first impression of our organization, you understand that you're not just teaching processes, you're establishing purpose, building a sense of belonging, and creating the foundation for high-performing teams to thrive.

Key job responsibilities

- Conduct structured training programs including NCC Welcome Week (Week 1) and NCC 101 (Week 2), covering Emergency Action Plan (EAP) training, Emergency Response, and system access setup for Amazon Connect, Slack, FMC/IB/OB Dock, and ACL Access

- Coordinate comprehensive onboarding experiences, including facility tours, leadership introductions, and critical system access

- Deliver foundational training programs that blend operational knowledge with cultural integration

- Manage learning management systems and track training completions with precision and attention to detail

- Support talent development initiatives and ambassador programs

- Collaborate with subject matter experts to continuously enhance training materials and approaches

Eligibility requirement

- Individuals hired into this position will have unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA). For this reason, eligibility for this role will be limited to individuals who pass a security screening, as required by the FAA, DHS, and TSA (as applicable).

- Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable.

- Amazon does not sponsor for immigration, including for H-1B, TN, and other non-immigrant visas, for this role.

Drug Test Requirement

This position requires an employee's full and unimpaired skills and judgment to safely execute their job duties to ensure the safety and security of Amazon Air personnel, third-party contractors, Airport personnel, cargo, and equipment. This position is therefore designated as a safety sensitive position and is subject to mandatory pre-employment and, where permitted, post-hire drug testing.

A day in the life

Your day will be a blend of strategic training coordination, personalized onboarding support, and creating welcoming environments for new team members. You'll move seamlessly between facilitating training sessions, managing administrative systems, and ensuring every new hire feels supported and inspired from their very first moment with Amazon Air.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, commerce, business administration or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience

- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities

- Experience managing projects and working independently

- Can communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

- Experience prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities

- Ability to teach and train others effectively using adult learning principles

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

- Experience with adult learning instructional design methods and best practices

- Experience at Amazon, or experience in senior level leadership support

- Proven experience in coordinating onboarding activities and facilitating training programs

- 1+ year of experience in Learning and Development

- Proficiency in Asana, Amazon Learn, and other relevant learning management systems (Articulate 360 Suite, Power Point, Canva, etc.)

- Experience in managing permissions for various systems

- 2+ years of aviation, logistics, or transportation experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $51,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $91,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
