Key Responsibilities
Diagnostic Testing & Analysis
- Perform complex diagnostic testing on blood, tissue, and body fluids using advanced laboratory methods.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain high-tech laboratory equipment to ensure accurate performance.
- Analyze and interpret laboratory data and work closely with healthcare providers to support effective patient care.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, etc.) through regular quality control and audit procedures.
- Offer guidance and leadership to lab technicians while promoting a collaborative and safety-focused work culture.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- ASCP certification (MLS, CLS, or MT) or equivalent (e.g., AMT).
- New graduates eligible for certification are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and instrumentation
- Proficient in Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience is a plus
