Job Description

Plant Maintenance Technician

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled and dependable Plant Maintenance Technician to join a large plastic material manufacturing and forwarding facility in Pasadena, TX. This well-established company is a leader in producing and distributing high-quality plastic materials used across multiple industries.

Pay Rate
$23.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule & Hours
Training time (7am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday)

Shift: 10:00 pm - 6:30 am (Overtime & weekends as needed)

Plant Maintenance Technician Duties & Responsibilities
• Interact with production employees, QA, and other maintenance technicians to improve and maximize plant output, efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Utilize process improvement techniques, tools, and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair plant machinery and equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic).
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
• Follow preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and prevent equipment failure.
• Ensure consistent production of quality products through monitoring of processes, raw materials, and finished products.
• Record, document, and report maintenance activities, data, and performance metrics.

Plant Maintenance Technician Qualifications & Requirements
• 1-3 years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and concentration skills.
• Must be able to work in manufacturing conditions (heat, noise, confined areas).
• Ability to read and comprehend technical procedures in English.
• Basic PLC knowledge is a plus, but not required.
• Basic troubleshooting knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, an
