Medical Assistant – Bilingual (Spanish) with Phlebotomy Experience 📍 Burbank, CA | Interventional Pain Management Practice
We are a premier Interventional Pain Management practice in Burbank seeking a Certified Medical Assistant who is bilingual in Spanish and has phlebotomy experience. This is a full-time opportunity to join a collaborative, patient-focused team.
What You’ll Do
Greet and check in patients; answer phones & schedule appointments
Verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and manage documentation
Take vitals and assist with in-office procedures and injections
Prep medications, syringes, and EMG machines; assist with ultrasound-guided injections
Perform phlebotomy, urine drug screens, and lab-related tasks
Accurately document patient histories in EMR
Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and referring offices
Maintain rooms, supplies, and medical records
What We’re Looking For
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with 2+ years of experience
Certified Medical Assistant (required)
Bilingual in Spanish & English (required)
Phlebotomy experience (required)
Professional, dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Strong knowledge of EMR systems, insurance verification, and medical terminology
Excellent communication and organizational skills
