Director of Student Recruitment

Description:
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective student recruitment strategies for all schools under our management to attract and enroll students throughout the year
- You will lead a team of Recruitment Managers and school based recruitment teams, manage marketing initiatives for student recruitment, and play a vital role in analyzing and strategizing new campus enrollment
- You will train and develop school staff and recruitment teams to have effective recruitment conversations in the field and over the phone at our campuses
Achievement metrics:
- 100% enrollment by first day of school (FDOS)
- 3:1 application collection ratio for new seats
- Application conversion 33%+
- Marketing lead conversion (33% or higher)
- Customer service "secret shopper" score of 85% neutral or greater responses
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to attract and enroll students across all grade levels year-round.
- Lead and supervise Recruitment Managers and school recruitment teams to ensure the successful implementation of recruitment efforts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and initiatives for attracting and hiring qualified teachers.
- Analyze enrollment data for new campus openings and develop strategic plans to ensure successful enrollment and optimal utilization of resources.
- Develop and manage advertising campaigns to promote student and teacher recruitment, ensuring effective use of resources and platforms.
- Oversee enrollment data systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
- Manage the lottery process for student enrollment, ensuring transparency, fairness, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Streamline registration processes and create a welcoming onboarding experience for new families, providing them with necessary information and support.
- Collaborate with uniform vendors to ensure the availability of high-quality uniforms at competitive prices while maintaining a professional and consistent appearance for students.
- Plan and coordinate network-wide events to promote the academy and engage the community showcase academic and extracurricular offerings.
- Provide exceptional customer service to parents, teachers, and students from all of our campuses.
- Support external affairs initiatives, such as developing and maintaining partnerships with community organizations and local businesses.
- Provide recruitment support for new site openings, including coordinating marketing efforts and community outreach.
- Value the voices of all staff, families, and students
- Work in collaboration to meet the needs of all stakeholders
- Seek and respond well to feedback and collaborate to find solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education, or a related field
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish)
- At least 4+ years in team management; preferably in a school setting
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team of recruitment professionals.
- Knowledge of student lottery management processes and enrollment regulations is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Valid Florida Driver's License, and reliable vehicle for transportation
- Ability to travel 40%-60% of the time, as required (mileage and travel reimbursement are provided)
