As an Auto Glass Technician Trainee, you will play a crucial role in our mission to make a difference and bring unexpected happiness to customers' lives. We will provide you with comprehensive training in auto glass installation, repair, and calibration of car safety systems, ensuring your service is not just good, but memorable.

In this role, you will:

  • Learn the Safelite techniques through paid hands-on and classroom training.
  • Install and repair auto glass while recalibrating automotive safety systems.
  • Offer additional services and products to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Safely operate a company vehicle and utilize company-issued tools throughout the workday.
  • Prepare for advancement to become a Safelite-certified Technician by testing your knowledge and embodying our positive work culture.

What you can expect from us:

  • Competitive pay starting at $22.25/hour, with increases to $26.50/hour upon successful completion of training.
  • Opportunity for promotion to Senior Technician or Master Technician within your first year based on performance metrics.
  • Paid training with all necessary tools and resources provided to ensure your success.
  • Additional earning potential with a $5 bonus for each set of wiper blades added for customer safety.
  • Flexible PTO options allowing you to buy or sell unused time, up to 16 hours.
  • A comprehensive benefits package valued at over $10,000, including a 401(k) with company matching, medical plans, paid time off, holidays, and volunteer days.

To be a part of our team, you need:

  • Must be 18 years or older with a valid state-issued driver's license.
  • Comfort ensuring work outdoors in various weather conditions, standing for extended periods.
  • Flexibility in start and end times to meet customer needs on scheduled days.
  • Able to regularly lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • High school diploma/GED/equivalent preferred; ability to read and write is essential.
