About Our Client

Our client is a respected NYC-based general contractor with a strong track record in public works, infrastructure, and civic buildings. Job Description
  • Lead full-cycle project management for public construction projects, including schools, transit, and municipal buildings.
  • Coordinate with city agencies, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and compliant execution.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, change orders, and contract documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to NYC building codes, MWBE goals, and prevailing wage requirements.
  • Resolve issues proactively and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Public Project Manager should have:
  • 7+ years of experience managing public-sector construction projects in NYC.
  • Deep understanding of DOB, SCA, DDC, DASNY, or similar agency protocols.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
