Job Description
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of heavy civil construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards on all project sites.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, plans, and specifications.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop strategies for effective mitigation.
  • Communicate project progress and updates to management and other relevant parties.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in construction management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Heavy Civil Project Engineer should have:
  • A degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Experience with heavy civil construction projects and a solid understanding of industry practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle project challenges effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools used in construction processes.
