Your Role
As an MRI/Radiology Technologist, you will perform various imaging procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring excellent patient care in a diagnostic environment. Key responsibilities include:
Completing MRI and General Radiology examinations with high-quality standards.
Interviewing patients and reviewing their charts to gather comprehensive medical histories prior to contrast injections.
Assessing patients for contraindications prior to procedures.
Assisting the radiologist as needed.
Performing scans using appropriate equipment and protocols.
Capable of taking plain film X-rays.
Complying with safety protocols regarding hazardous medications.
Fostering teamwork within the department and across the hospital.
What You Need
Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
Two years of related experience.
Current registration with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) and MRI advanced certification.
If not MRI registered, you must obtain certification within 12 months of hire.
Current American Heart BLS certification required upon hire.
