Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Executing repairs on customer vehicles and trailers with precision
  • Performing basic welding tasks
  • Updating customers and managers on service completions, costs, and potential changes
  • Monitoring profit and loss for each job to maximize profitability while upholding quality standards; minimizing warranty claims and rework
  • Submitting work orders for accurate invoicing
  • Maintaining inventory and necessary supplies
  • Preparing lists of required replacement parts
  • Ensuring a clean work environment and maintaining equipment; adhering to all environmental, health, and safety standards

What We're Looking For:

  • At least two years of experience in diesel mechanics within the heavy-duty truck field
  • Fire Truck Certification(s) and/or readiness to acquire certification at company expense
  • Automotive Service Excellence certification suitable for the role or equivalent
  • Willingness to acquire your own tools as you progress (TruckPro offers a tool purchase or reimbursement program)
  • Ability to lift parts weighing over 50 lbs
  • A valid driver's license and/or CDL with a clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

  • This role is physically demanding
  • Capability to lift, pull, pick, and stock heavy-duty truck parts exceeding 50 lbs with assistive devices
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods on various surfaces and operate a forklift
  • Frequent requirements to walk, bend, twist, stoop, reach, lift, push, and climb
  • Regular computer use as part of daily tasks

Work Environment:

  • Expect regular exposure to typical indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, such as dust, vibration, minor chemical hazards, noise, and temperature fluctuations
  • Awareness of hazards or physical risks associated with warehouse, vehicle services, and retail operations—and adherence to basic safety precautions is required
