Pharmacy Operations Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an empathetic Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead our pharmacy team in providing exceptional consulting services to patients regarding medication effectiveness and safety. This role will also involve offering preventive healthcare services like immunizations and diagnostic testing. You will ensure that all medications are accurately compounded, reviewed, dispensed, and verified in compliance with regulatory guidelines and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhancing Patient Experience: Engage with patients by welcoming them and addressing their needs. Swiftly resolve patient inquiries to ensure satisfaction and a positive experience.
- Operations Management: Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions. Perform necessary pharmacist tasks including compounding and drug therapy reviews.
- Staff Management: Oversee pharmacy staff’s performance, engagement, and professional development through training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Business Performance: Analyze pharmacy financials, manage inventory effectively, and identify improvement opportunities to enhance business outcomes.
- Community Involvement: Build and maintain strong relationships with local healthcare providers and promote pharmacy services within the community.
Qualifications:
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure relevant to the district.
- Experience in pharmacy operations, including prescription filling and insurance billing.
- Willingness to obtain immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
