Job Description
Job Title: Translator / Interpreter II- Japanese bilingual
No prior translator/interpreter experience required - bilinguals with admin experience welcome.
Location: Taylor, TX 76574 (construction site office)
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week) - Part-time available
Contract: Long-term contract (renewable based on performance)
Work Hours: 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (1-hour lunch break)
Pay: $22/hour and up, DOE (Depending on Experience)

Job Summary
Bilingual English-Japanese position at a construction site in Taylor, TX.
Full-time or part-time role supporting translation, interpretation, and office tasks.
No prior translator/interpreter experience required - bilinguals with admin experience welcome.
Main Responsibilities
- Translate documents and meetings between English Japanese
- Provide live interpretation during on-site or virtual meetings and prepare meeting minutes in Japanese
- Handle phone calls and provide general office support
- Submit weekly reports
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors
- Arrange travel and accommodation for staff
- Perform other administrative support tasks as assigned
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese (spoken and written)
- Some administrative or office support experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, bilingual office or construction environment
- Must pass background check, drug test, and complete required safety training (OSHA, etc.)
