Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) - Decatur Manor Healthcare, Decatur, IL - $18 Per Hour We are seeking CNAs to work Every Other Weekend - ALL Shifts available.
Decatur Manor, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF), in Decatur, IL, has Immediate Openings for CNAs to join our team This is a perfect position for a CNA who has experience working in the mental health field Must be 21 years or older.

Our consumers are ambulatory and are not bedridden, need less physical assistance and have a primary diagnosis of mental illness.

Responsibilities of the CNA in a Mental Health Setting
- Collaborate with consumer and treatment team in facilitating therapeutic treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic care plans and activities in a compassionate and caring manner
- Recognize, note, and inform treatment team when a consumer is not at their baseline of symptoms and behaviors
- Assist medical treatment team as assigned
- Help check in all newly admitted consumers and readmissions
- Assist in the transfer of consumers to different rooms
- Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
- Other related duties as assigned

We Will Consider Candidates Who Have the Following Qualifications:
- 21 years of age or older
- Certified or deemed eligible to work in Healthcare in the State of Illinois with no Waivers
- High School diploma and some college preferred
- Some medical or behavioral health experience preferred
- Basic Computer Skills
- Service mindset with compassion, tolerance, and understanding of adults with psychiatric disorders
