Job Responsibilities
  • Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design individualized therapy strategies that empower them to reach their functional milestones
  • Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Leverage evidence-based methodologies to strengthen motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living competencies
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to deliver holistic and comprehensive patient care
  • Educate Patients and Families: Provide training to patients and their caregivers regarding therapy techniques to encourage ongoing support at home
  • Measure and Document Progress: Monitor clinical results and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on track towards their goals
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized educational institution
  • Commitment to continuing education and post-graduate certifications is encouraged and supported
Licenses and Certifications
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is required
  • Certification from NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is mandatory
