About The Position
Specialty: Nocturnist (Internal Medicine/Family Medicine)
Description:
- We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Nocturnist physician to join hospital medicine team in Pueblo, Colorado. This is a full-time, permanent position focused on delivering high-quality patient care during night shifts in a supportive, innovative healthcare environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient care during night shifts
- Work 144 twelve-hour shifts annually (6-on, 9-off schedule)
- Support advanced practice providers (APPs)
- Participate in a closed ICU model (staffed by Pulmonary/Critical Care)
- Collaborate with a large, physician-led healthcare team
- Use EPIC EMR system-wide for patient documentation
- Optional extra shifts available
Working Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts
- 144 shifts per year (6 days on, 9 days off rotation)
- Additional shifts available
Skills:
- Inpatient clinical care
- Excellent communication and collaboration
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment and patient-first mindset

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (required)
- Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain (preferred)
- DEA license (required before start)
- Clean malpractice history (preferred)
- Not open to locums candidates
