Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems according to specifications and industry standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Select appropriate materials and equipment for each piping task to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Inspect and test piping systems for leaks and defects using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other trades to coordinate work and adhere to schedules.
- Troubleshoot and repair piping systems, addressing issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety regulations and best practices.
- Valid Journeyman Pipefitter certification or equivalent experience in the field.
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter, with a strong understanding of pipefitting techniques and practices.
- Knowledge of welding and fabrication processes related to piping systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents proficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality work.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks in various environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
