The Team: Risk & Regulatory IT Audit and Technology Risk
Our team is comprised of seasoned professionals with public accounting experience and IT experts with deep expertise across various services and industries. We take a comprehensive approach to help clients navigate internal audit, risk, and compliance activities, working together to address a wide range of business needs.
Your Impact
- Work with emerging growth companies and established enterprises (publicly traded and privately held) on projects including SOX readiness, internal audit, and ERM.
- Support information systems engagements and IT controls assessments from planning to reporting, supervising consultants.
- Apply current knowledge of IT trends, techniques, and risks to identify security and risk management opportunities to add value for clients.
- Identify internal control issues within clients' IT environments and develop gap analyses.
- Develop understanding of core IT processes and identify opportunities for process efficiencies and control optimization.
- Summarize and document work results, including management reporting.
- Educate internal and external audiences on technology risk and control best practices.
- Understand the services offered by Risk & Regulatory and MorganFranklin to identify additional client opportunities.
- Establish credibility as a trusted advisor.
- Support the Risk & Regulatory practice to achieve key goals and initiatives.
Your Experience
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of professional services experience and/or relevant industry IT Audit or information security experience.
- Knowledge of IT controls and frameworks such as COBIT, NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27001/2.
- Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance, including process and controls documentation, control design assessment, and testing.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure components like Windows, Linux, Unix, Active Directory, SQL, MySQL, Oracle.
- Understanding of key IT general controls and dependencies such as change management, access controls, segregation of duties, and automated controls.
- Master's degree or MBA.
- Certifications like CISA, CISSP, or others.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Workday, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Knowledge of IT best practices for effective client recommendations.
- Experience with platform security assessments or cybersecurity.
- Willingness to travel at least 25%.
