Temporary Therapist

Join our dedicated team at Monte Nido Portland, a residential treatment program located in West Linn, OR. We are looking for a Temporary Therapist to help adults battling Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Our mission is to save lives while guiding individuals towards their healthier selves.

Your role will involve working within a multi-disciplinary treatment team to provide comprehensive care. This temporary position is estimated to last through April 2026 and requires a Sunday to Thursday schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Serve as a liaison with families and outpatient providers.
  • Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management.
  • Participate in discharge and aftercare planning.
  • Provide therapeutic meal support while modeling a healthy relationship with food.
  • Deliver safe, empathetic, and affirming care tailored to each client's unique circumstances and intersecting identities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in clinical counseling or a related field.
  • State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling discipline (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC).
  • Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is preferred.
  • Familiarity with diversity, equity, and inclusion practices is a plus.
