Job Overview

Delaware Orthopaedic Specialists is on the lookout for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to become part of our expanding outpatient team. This is a fantastic opportunity to thrive in a clinician-owned, physician-integrated practice that places a strong emphasis on collaboration, evidence-based care, and outstanding patient outcomes. You will collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons and specialists in sports medicine, joint, and spine care to deliver exceptional rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess patient function and mobility.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient goals.
  • Monitor and modify care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education to patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
  • Collaborate effectively with referring physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and patient progress.
  • Assist in discharge planning and maintain continuity of care.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (Required).
  • Active Physical Therapy License in Delaware (Required).
  • 1+ years of experience in outpatient care is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Setting: In-person outpatient clinics
Work Locations: Offices in Wilmington, DE, Middletown, DE, and Chadds Ford, PA
Relocation: Required prior to start date (if not local)

Schedule & Compensation
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Compensation: $90,000 - $115,000 annual salary, based on experience.
