Position Overview: As a Surgical Technologist I for the General Specialty Evening Shift, you will play a vital role in ensuring a clean and efficient surgical environment. This position offers an opportunity for professional growth and development in a nationally recognized healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a sterile and safe surgical area, utilizing aseptic techniques to prepare materials and equipment for procedures.
  • Assist in various surgical procedures while maintaining knowledge of surgical protocols.
  • Set up and manage the operating room, including equipment operation and room disinfection.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs and provide necessary support during surgeries.
  • Transport patients and maintain specialty carts to ensure readiness for surgical procedures.
  • Position patients safely and assist in their transport.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is needed within 6 months of employment.
  • No prior experience is necessary.

Benefits and Compensation:

  • Competitive pay range: $26.10 - $39.15 per hour, with additional premium pay for certain shifts.

  • $10,000 sign-on bonus and additional $2,000 for evening shifts, subject to eligibility.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, remain agile in a fast-paced environment, and utilize appropriate safety measures when exposed to hazards.
