About the Role

We're hiring a skilled Certified Hand Therapist (Occupational Therapist) to join our comprehensive rehabilitation and therapy team at a leading acute care hospital in Miami. This role focuses on treating upper extremity injuries in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You'll be working with a diverse patient population that spans all age groups, including complex trauma and surgical cases.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, plan, and administer occupational therapy interventions for patients with upper extremity conditions
  • Apply evidence-based practices to restore function, relieve pain, and improve mobility
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Supervise and delegate responsibilities to therapy assistants and support staff
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and infection control procedures
  • Provide age-specific care across the lifespan (pediatric to geriatric)
Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (minimum required)
• Active Florida Occupational Therapy License (required)
• BLS Certification (required)
• Minimum 1-2 years of direct hand therapy experience (required)
• CHT certification preferred (or willing to obtain if eligible)
