Position Overview

Intuit's Consumer Group Program Office is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst to support headcount management, financial operations, and business analytics. The ideal candidate will partner closely with engineering and finance teams to provide accurate financial forecasts, manage budgets, and ensure alignment with corporate financial goals. This role requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail, excellent communication, and the capacity to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support financial analysis across the organization, focusing on headcount management, operational spend, and budget adherence.
  • Participate in annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and monthly estimate processes with cross-functional teams.
  • Deliver accurate and timely forecasts with detailed risk and opportunity assessments.
  • Monitor and analyze purchase order spend (contractors and licenses), proactively identifying emerging risks or variances.
  • Build and maintain contractor projections and financial models aligned with finance targets.
  • Partner with engineering leaders and finance teams to plan and track license and technology spend.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to monitor project performance and facilitate discussions on forecasts and variances.
  • Provide clear, concise presentations and communicate complex analyses to senior business leaders with minimal guidance.
  • Support continuous process improvement within financial operations and analytics.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management required.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of FP&A or related financial analysis experience, ideally within a medium to large enterprise environment.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate analytical insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in QlikSense, Excel or Google Sheets for analytics, and Google Docs/Slides or PowerPoint for presentation development.
  • Experience using Coupa or similar purchasing software preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to convey complex financial data in a simple, actionable format.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence decision-making in a matrixed organization.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Energetic, curious, and proactive in identifying and addressing business challenges.
