Job Description:
As an SAP Treasury SME, you will provide expert-level support for Finance, Treasury, and Banking systems during an S/4HANA migration. This role requires close collaboration with project teams, system integrators, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and process alignment across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the IT point of contact and subject matter expert for Finance, Treasury, and Banking systems during S/4HANA migration.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and system integrators to support configuration, development, and testing activities.
  • Gain deep understanding of current Finance, Treasury, and Banking processes and map them to future S/4HANA processes.
  • Participate in testing and validation for ECC and S/4HANA environments.
  • Support data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation of finance-related data.
  • Ensure all modifications and upgrades are tested and documented thoroughly.
  • Assist in project tracking, reporting, and analysis for Finance and Treasury activities.
  • Identify and support training needs for new processes and functionalities.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide support during cutover and post-go-live phases.
  • Promote best practices for system and process change management and documentation.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
  • Minimum 6 years of experience configuring and supporting SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA Treasury and Banking components.
  • At least 5 years of experience in treasury module configuration for bonds, money market sweeps, derivatives, and integration with Financial Accounting.
  • Minimum 2 full-cycle implementation projects for Banking and Treasury components.
  • Strong knowledge of reporting requirements; SAP Analytics Cloud experience is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience processing lockbox files and electronic bank statements in SAP.
  • Thorough understanding of end-to-end SAP Finance, Treasury, and Banking processes.
  • Hands-on experience with design documents and training materials for Banking and Treasury processes.
  • Experience with month-end and year-end financial processes in ECC and S/4HANA.

Desired Skillset:
  • Experience with real-time and batch integration between SAP ECC and S/4HANA and external systems.
  • Background in background job processing for finance and treasury in SAP.
  • Expertise in handling ACH, checks, and real-time digital payments in SAP.
  • Integration experience with external collection agencies and banks.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Experience with brownfield migrations and transitions to cloud-based S/4HANA and Fiori.
  • Ability to develop and review test scenarios and conduct hands-on testing in ADO.
  • Understanding of finance and treasury regulations for public agencies.

Certifications / Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business management or information systems (or equivalent experience).
  • SAP Treasury and Risk Management (SAP TRM) certification strongly preferred.


The hourly range for roles of this nature are $80.00 to $100.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
