New London Hospital is seeking an experienced and energetic BC/BE Family Medicine Physician to join our Primary Care practice. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing acute and preventive care as well as chronic disease management for patients of all ages in a growing primary care practice. In addition, the candidate will seek the opportunity to build strong relationships with their colleagues and patients and provide continuous and comprehensive care to each patient. The candidate will be fully supported by experienced nurses, medical assistants and care coordinators to provide team-based care that is grounded by evidence-based best practices. This practice provides comprehensive care and is deeply rooted in the local community.
Located at the recently renovated main campus of New London Hospital, this practice has seamless access to the hospital campus and its specialty services. In addition to services at the main campus in New London, primary and some secondary care services are offered at the organization's Newport Health Center, a rural health center founded in 1991 in Newport, NH. In 2013, New London Hospital became a Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health affiliate. New London Hospital is also a member of the New England Alliance for Health (NEAH).
The community of New London is a picturesque town in the Lake Sunapee region in central New Hampshire. NH boasts no income or sales tax. - Graduate of a four (4) year accredited medical school or equivalent required
- Board certification or eligible, as appropriate to the position, required
- Unrestricted and current license to practice medicine in the State of NH required
- Current DEA
