Who you are:
As an Escrow and Tax Specialist with Frost, you are our tax expert. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance of tax records, monitoring and addressing escrow account inquiries, and conducting tax and escrow research. You will use your investigate skills and observant mindset to ensure accurate and timely property tax disbursements on escrowed and non-escrowed loans. You enjoy interacting with customers and will play a key role in addressing tax-related questions. What you'll do:
- Communicate escrow related questions and concerns over the phone with customers and internal partners.
- Be responsible for the maintenance of tax records, monitoring for active tax service contracts, and conducting tax research
- Provides supporting documentation to the tax vendor to assist in their research.
- Ensure accurate and timely property tax disbursements on escrowed and non-escrowed loans
- Assist customers in answering escalated tax-related questions to certify an optimal consumer experience within the organization
- Prepare annual escrow analysis in accordance with state-established schedules
- Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
- 2+ years of experience within the mortgage escrow, a tax research environment, or mortgage servicing in general
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of basic mortgage lending regulatory requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft computer applications
- Experience with Black Knight MSP
