The Role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will take charge of the entire architecture for our fleet management and asset tracking systems, focusing approximately 75% on Backend/Security and 25% on Frontend. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing secure backend services for managing financial transactions, vehicle telemetry, and user identity.
• Implementing stringent security protocols for IoT data flows to ensure tamper-proof logging and encryption.
• Creating web interfaces for fleet administration using React while ensuring a robust API surface for scalability.

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years of experience delivering production software, with a strong focus on Backend Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience architecting security-critical systems, including payment processing, personal information management, or access control.
• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, Go, or Python.
• Competence in Frontend development using React, Vue, or similar technologies for internal tools and dashboards.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) and designing scalable APIs.
• Must be available to work on-site in the San Francisco East Bay area.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Fintech, Banking, Healthcare (HIPAA), or Defense sectors.
• In-depth knowledge in Applied Cryptography, Identity Access Management (IAM), or Secure IoT technologies.
• Familiarity with mobile development (React Native) is a plus.
• A track record as a founding or early-stage engineer.
• A strong passion for electric vehicles, automotive technology, or hardware-software integration.
