**This Engineering position can be filled at the Entry, Mid-level, or Senior Engineer level. Please review the minimum qualifications for each level below.**

Salary Range:

  • Entry Level - $82,500
  • Mid-Level - $88,000 - $108,000
  • Senior Level - $115,000 - $141,000

Salary ranges are annual and based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and 401(k) contributions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Entry Level: B.S. in Engineering
  • Mid-level: B.S. in Engineering, Minimum of 2 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience
  • Senior Level: B.S. in Engineering, Minimum of 5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Conducts advanced engineering problem solving to support nuclear plant operations, making critical technical decisions. The role requires specialized knowledge in electrical engineering and its applications, alongside a solid understanding of applicable industry codes and regulations. This position operates with industry-recognized expertise in a technical domain.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform advanced engineering tasks in support of nuclear plant operations.
  • Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to aid technical projects.
  • Provide in-depth expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering activities that pertain to plant safety, reliability, maintainability, and availability, ensuring alignment with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of engineering work while adhering to best practices in configuration management, using standard design criteria, practices, and codes in plans and specifications preparation.
  • Offer technical consultation to identify and remedy equipment and system issues.
  • Manage engineering tasks related to specific issues, ensuring effective solutions.
  • Recommend innovative equipment, concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, and comply with regulatory changes.
  • Assist with plant design modifications, testing, and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Guarantee that all engineering outputs comply with safety analyses, industry codes, and all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate engineering supervisory activities, including personnel management, budget accountability, and planning goals.
