About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology MD in New Jersey

 Setting: Office/Clinic, Hospital with Call, OB Only, GYN Only - Full-Scope OB/GYN
 Start Date: As soon as credentialed
 Type: Locum Tenens Opportunity Overview:

A busy and well-established OB/GYN practice in New Jersey is seeking Board-Certified Locum Tenens OB/GYNs to help cover physician gaps. You'll join a collaborative team of 8 physicians and 20 APPs providing care in a mix of outpatient and inpatient settings. This role involves both low- and high-risk obstetrics, surgical gynecology, and call coverage.

Practice Snapshot:

  • Total L&D Beds: 9

  • Average Scheduled Patients/Day: 25-30

  • Nursery Level: III (Avg. 6 admissions/day)

  • GYN Surgical Cases/Day: 3-4

  • C-Section Rate: 35%

  • EMR: Cerner/Oracle

  • Trauma Level: II

  • Support: Each physician has a dedicated medical assistant

Required Skills & Procedures:

  • Management of low- and high-risk pregnancies

  • Routine & complicated deliveries (C-Sections, Breech, VBACs, Multiple births)

  • Repair of 3rd & 4th-degree lacerations

  • Surgical Gynecology: Open & laparoscopic

  • Tubal ligations, chromopertubation, cystectomy, ovary removal

  • Office-based procedures: IUD, LEEP, colposcopy, cystoscopy, cryo, etc.

Additional Info:

  • Board Certification: Required

  • NJ License: Highly preferred (willing to consider those obtaining)

  • Call & Schedule: TBD
