Business Analyst

Summary:
The main function of a Business Analyst is to perform the analysis of mandates, conduct requirements gathering and gain commitment of IT to deliver solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
- Gathers requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers
- Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems
- Strong Jira knowledge
- Works on multiple projects as a project team member
- Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years' experience required
- A firm understanding of Agile required
- A basic understanding of Mandates
- Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining requirements from business users
- Business analysis skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines
- Ability to understand complex details
- A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level
- Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $63.00 - $65.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, health savings accounts with qualified medical plan enrollment, 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave, 401(k) plan participation with employer match, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care flexible spending account, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, accommodations and reimbursement for work travel, and discretionary performance or recognition bonus. Sick leave and mobile phone reimbursement provided based on state or local law.
