Clinical Medical Assistant

Nextaff is hiring a Medical Assistant with to work with our client, a busy and growing primary care medical practice in Dundee, FL. As a Medical Assistant, you will be greeting & rooming patients, updating medical histories, preparing them for their visit with their provider and updating medical records. This is a full-time, 2-month temporary assignment, with a Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule, that has the possibility of extension.

- At least 6 months of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a medical office environment
- You have strong knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology
- You have experience documenting in and updating patient data in EHR application (experience with eClinicalWorks preferred)
- You are friendly, outgoing, have an excellent telephone presence and enjoy solving problems
- Background and drug screening required
