Our client, a global professional services firm that operates primarily in the financial services industry, specializing in risk, retirement, and health solutions , is seeking a Commercial Insurance Underwriting Support to join their team, 100% onsite, in Fort Washington, PA. As a Underwriting Support, you will be part of the underwriting department supporting the operational and client service teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Commercial Insurance Underwriting Support

Location: Fort Washington, Pennsylvania (Onsite, Mon-Fri)

Pay Range: $28/HR + Benefits

W2 Contract Duration: 3+ Months Contract to Hire

Job Function:

  • Perform accurate and timely data entry and process support of commercial insurance information to support underwriting processes.
  • Assist the underwriting team in managing billing, rating, and operational tasks across new business and renewals.
  • Review and verify policy documents, applications, and endorsements for completeness and accuracy, ensuring data consistency.
  • Communicate with underwriters, brokers, clients, and internal teams to resolve data discrepancies and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Generate reports and assist with audits and compliance as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred or industry experience in lieu of formal education.
  • Experience in the commercial insurance industry supporting underwriter activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook) and general computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
