Job Description
Job Title: Mental Health Coordinator
Profession: Health Services
Specialty: LPC, LCSW, LMFT
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 2nd shift
Hours per Shift: 8 hours
Experience: Five (5) years of clinical experience, including two (2) years in a comparable job position
License: Must possess appropriate LPC, LCSW, or LMFT certification or license in the state where practice occurs
Certifications: Valid driver's license preferred
Must-Have: Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age

Description:
The Mental Health Coordinator plans and provides clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature.
The successful candidate must be able to perform all required functions at a pace and level consistent with actual job performance requirements.
Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on available records and clinical interviews.
Provide treatment by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluations of needs and functionality.
Document all treatment and evaluation activities in the health care record for each individual seen.
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques through appropriate treatments and activities used for individuals on the caseload.
Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address the needs of individuals.
