What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate in Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support comprehensive technical solutions using full-stack development tools.

  • Work collaboratively with a team of seasoned developers skilled in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems.

  • Utilize programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, and work with both Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, alongside cloud-based data warehousing services like Redshift and Snowflake.

  • Stay updated on tech trends by experimenting with new technologies, participating in technology communities, and mentoring peers in engineering practices.

  • Partner with digital product managers to create robust cloud-based solutions that enhance user experiences and promote financial empowerment for millions.

  • Perform unit testing and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality, well-optimized code.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3+ years of application development experience (not including internships).

  • 1+ years of experience with big data technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in application development focusing on Python, SQL, Scala, or Java.

  • 2+ years of experience with a public cloud platform (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

  • 3+ years of experience using distributed data/computing tools such as MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL.

  • 2+ years of experience in real-time data and streaming applications.

  • 2+ years of experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).

  • 2+ years of data warehousing experience (Redshift or Snowflake).

  • 3+ years of UNIX/Linux experience including basic commands and shell scripting.

  • 2+ years of experience in Agile engineering practices.

The salary range for this role is as follows:

  • Plano, TX: $144,200 - $164,600
  • McLean, VA: $158,600 - $181,000
  • Richmond, VA: $144,200 - $164,600

Salary may vary based on location and qualifications, and actual compensation will be discussed upon offer. This role includes eligibility for performance-based incentives, which may consist of cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
