Senior Business Analyst

Location: Cambridge, MA (Remote up to 100%)

Salary: $135,000 - $206,100 per year

Job Description: Takeda Pharmaceuticals America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with the following duties:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications and data models within Workday.
• Design and maintain a variety of HR reports, dashboards, and analytics using Workday's reporting tools (e.g., Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Discovery Boards, Worksheets).
• Manage projects related to new business acquisitions and the impact on Workday, as well as projects concerning legacy HR systems/data.
• Analyze HR data to provide meaningful insights to key stakeholders, enabling data?driven decision?making.
• Stay up?to?date with industry best practices and Workday updates to enhance reporting capabilities and optimize system functionality.
• Provide end?user support and training to HR and other stakeholders on effectively using Workday reporting tools and resources.
• Collaborate with the HR Technology team to identify process improvement opportunities, automate manual tasks, and improve data workflows.
• Assist with HRIS implementation projects, including system upgrades, mass data loads, and integrations with third?party applications.
• Lead Workday projects, aligning system enhancements with business and regulatory needs while ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption.
  

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Engineering Management, Business Administration or related field plus 2 years of related experience.
• Experience developing and maintaining Workday reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and Workday Prism.
• Documentation of business requirements, workflows, and functional specifications.
• Identification of process improvement opportunities and implementation of best practices using Workday functionalities.
• Gap analysis between business requirements and Workday capabilities.
• Configuration and maintenance of Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, and Recruiting.
• Analysis of business requirements and translation into Workday system configurations.
• Conducting system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshooting and resolving Workday?related issues by collaborating with HR, IT, and other stakeholders.
• Ensuring security roles and permissions are appropriately configured and maintained; conducting periodic security audits and implementing necessary access controls.
