Our challenge
  • We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Mainframe Developer to join our development team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for Strong on COBOL, DB2, Good to have knowledge of Python, SQL Server Development.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and other mainframe technologies.
  • Good to have knowledge of Python & SQL Server
  • Analyse and understand business requirements to design effective technical solutions.
  • Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of mainframe applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mainframe applications with other systems.
  • Provide support and maintenance for existing mainframe applications.
You Are:
  • Strong proficiency in mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
  • Experience with mainframe development tools and environments.
  • Good understanding of mainframe architecture and operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
It Would Be Great If You Also Had:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with mainframe modernization projects.
  • Knowledge of other programming languages and technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
