Position Overview:
The Property Tax Analyst will support the Property Tax compliance team for assigned accounts through direct engagement, with primary responsibility for the preparation of property tax renditions.  
Responsibilities:
  • Process annual tax renditions for assigned clients, including data imports, reconciliation to books of record, and physical or digital submission to taxing authorities
  • Utilize software knowledge to efficiently process client data for property tax purposes throughout the compliance cycle
  • Maintain multi-client rendition calendar providing up-to-date progress for supervisor review
  • Handle processing and payment of assigned clients’ property tax bills
  • Perform data requests and follow up with clients to address questions or request any missing details
  • Interface with property tax supervisors on upcoming due dates, expected return and tax bill volumes, and any perceived issues with timely filing or payment remittance
  • Document and maintain audit-ready files
  • Interface with local jurisdictions as directed with issues related to personal and real property account closures, consolidations, and general follow-up inquiries
  • Build client relationships while working on client projects
 
Qualifications Sought:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Recent graduates interested in building a career in Tax within a Professional Services firm are encouraged to apply
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex information
  • Strong multitasking ability and comfort working across several engagements while collaborating effectively with client service teams.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Experience with corporate tax preparation software (e.g., PTMS or OneSource Property Tax)
  • Knowledge of assessment review processes and tax bill administration
  • Working understanding of jurisdictional rules and filing requirements
