Senior Analyst, Credit and Pricing Strategies

Join us as a Senior Analyst in our Credit and Pricing division, where you'll have a unique opportunity to drive significant business results by optimizing our credit risk underwriting and pricing strategies. This role is pivotal in enhancing approval processes, loan amount assignments, terms, pricing, and risk appetite frameworks to ensure healthy revenue growth and effective loss mitigation.

We seek enthusiastic team members who are passionate about devising innovative solutions to business challenges with minimal supervision. You'll take charge of extracting data and conducting in-depth analyses, applying critical thinking, and drawing valuable insights. Your understanding of customer behavior will aid in the development of efficient business strategies.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Extracting and analyzing historical customer performance data to design and recommend consumer credit underwriting and pricing strategies.
  • Utilizing data query tools such as R, SAS, SQL, MATLAB, or Python for strategy development and execution.
  • Leveraging regression models and machine learning algorithms to analyze customer behavior based on various strategic treatments.
  • Driving profitable growth through the development of comprehensive strategy optimization frameworks.
  • Implementing quality control processes to maintain data accuracy.
  • Enhancing existing processes and reporting through automation and quality control.
  • Summarizing and effectively communicating results and insights to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business Management, or Computer Science preferred); a Master’s or PhD may substitute for experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in complex, data-driven problem solving.

Located in Baltimore, MD, this role offers a hybrid work environment. The target base salary ranges from $105,000 to $135,000, commensurate with skills and experience.
