Job Title: CNC Milling Machinists - 2nd Shift Job ID: 81776 Location: Elk Grove Village, Illinois Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinists to operate different CNC milling machines in their shop utilizing FANUC operating systems. You will be operating machines for valuable castings/forgings to manufacture them into quality parts for customers. Must be available for overtime including weekends and during peak production times. What you will be doing:
  • Follow written instructions and read and apply blueprint specifications.
  • Performs a complex series of progressive machining operations on a diversified line of work to close and exact tolerances and finishing specifications.
  • Able to perform simple set-ups of many jobs. May operate more than one machine.
  • Checks parts for conformance to specifications.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
What you must have:
  • Should be able to read and write English. Basic computer skills are a plus
  • Preferred five or more years of combined formal training and experience or equivalent
  • Ability to apply recognized tooling and procedures where tolerances are close
  • Blueprint reading ability
  • Requires a high school diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times
  • Broad knowledge of machining techniques and familiarity with CNC machine tool operating procedures
