We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our Facilities team at our South Windsor, CT headquarters. This is a full-time, permanent position offering excellent benefits and a welcoming, team-focused work environment.

The Housekeeper will help maintain the cleanliness of our headquarters. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and has experience in commercial cleaning. The main goal of this position is to keep the building clean and sanitary. This will include trash, restrooms, dining areas, floors, general and detailed cleaning and additional tasks assigned by facilities management.

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Utilize daily schedules, emails and a computer based queue system to view, update and complete housekeeping requests.
  • Trash - Remove all trash from the building on a daily basis and place in proper bins, such as trash and recycle, located outside.
  • Restrooms- Clean floors, facilities, walls, vents etc., disinfect all surfaces, and fill all dispensers.
  • Floor care- Daily vacuuming, detailed cleaning, shampooing, sweeping, and mopping.
  • Glass cleaning- Daily Spot clean mirrors, doors and windows with a semi annual clean of entire building using squeegees and glass cleaner.
  • Detail cleaning- Dusting, edge vacuuming, air vents, light fixtures, wall fixtures.
  • Laundry- Launder gym towels and HK mops, rags etc.
  • General Cleaning - Daily cleaning of common areas within the facility.
  • Cafe cleaning- Daily cleaning all tabletops, furniture, floor etc.
Required Skills.
  • General computer literacy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through writing and speaking.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk and been on feet for the majority of shift.
Required Experience.
  • 2 Years of commercial office building cleaning to include manual and power cleaning equipment
Preferred Experience.
  • General Office cleaning experience and Floor care, stripping and waxing floors.
Required Education.
  • High School diploma / GED

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 4.00pm ( There is scheduling overtime for deep clean projects, events for staff )
